Directors’ Clinics Information
Northwest Drum Camp Announces Mike Jackson and Phil Idell as 2025 NWDC Directors’ Clinics Keynote Speakers
Mike Jackson, WGI Hall of Fame director and arranger, and Phil Idell of Broken City and Vista Murrieta HS will be headlining two clinics specifically tailored for pageantry designers, instructors, and band directors.
Each of the two clinics will be unique and range in subjects from design for percussion, marching band, and drum corps, to directing, managing, and budgeting for an ensemble. There will be panel discussions as well as the opportunity for Q&A.
NWDC is excited to offer the Northwest pageantry community the opportunity to get inside the minds of these accomplished clinicians and how they create shows from inspiration to completion.
The Directors’ Clinics will be held in Beacock Music Hall at Clark College in Vancouver, WA on Wednesday, July 9, and Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 6:30pm.
